Levada Consulting was founded in 2002 to provide Business and Technology services in the Financial Industry. The Company is based in the United States and focuses on local and global Projects and Services for Foreign Banks in the United States. Founded on successful Projects, Levada Consulting has set up two Practices for Services related to the ACBS System and the T24/GLOBUS System. Corresponding to the global nature of the Financial Industry, Levada Consulting has worked successfully on international and global Projects in Cooperation with our Alliance Partner Acrys Consult.

Management Team

Michael Holzmann (President and Founder)

Mr. Holzmann started his career as a consultant in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the UK with commercial and investment banks in the areas of risk management, data warehousing, trading and credit systems and reporting applications. After moving to New York Mr. Holzmann headed the IT department for trading, credit, risk management and reporting systems support and development at an investment bank on Wall Street. Prior to founding Levada Consulting Inc., Mr. Holzmann worked in a management position at a consulting firm with focus on global projects in investment banking and wealth management.

Mr. Holzmann specializes in business and technology strategies, architectures and systems and is heading the T24/GLOBUS practice at Levada Consulting.

Mr. Holzmann has an MS degree in computer science and a BA degree from the University of Erlangen, Germany.

Joern Ahlers (Director)

Mr. Ahlers joined Levada Consulting in 2002 and was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Company shortly thereafter. Mr. Ahlers has more than 10 years of working experience as a Project Manager, Systems Architect and Business Analyst with commercial and investment banks in Germany and the US.

Mr. Ahlers specializes in commercial lending and credit risk systems and the integration of a bank?s front and back office systems with its ledger and regulatory reporting systems. He is heading the ACBS practice at Levada Consulting.

Mr. Ahlers has an MBA degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a BS degree in Business Information Systems from the Fachhochschule Nordostniedersachsen, Germany.

Etni Alvis (Head of Technology)

Mr. Alvis joined Levada Consulting in 2002 and was appointed Head of Technology in 2004. Mr. Alvis has more than 12 years experience as Project Manager, Systems Architect and Software Developer with product development companies, brokerage firms and banks in the US.

Mr. Alvis specializes in Web-based Services, Data Warehouse and Reporting Platforms, Systems Integration and Transaction Processing Systems.

Mr. Alvis has an MS degree in Software Engineering from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan.

Ash Richards (Management Consultant)

Mr. Richards is the most recent addition to the Levada Management team. He joined Levada Consulting in 2006. Mr. Richards?s wide-ranging experience in all aspects of Information Technology and of the Banking Industry spans back to 1977 where he began his career as a software developer. He has a proven record of successful implementations of technology strategies to reach the goals of organizations. He held positions on both the provider and client side of the business. Most recently he was the Head of Business Application Development and a First Vice President with a Swiss Private Bank.

Mr. Richards has extensive project management experience utilizing formal PM methodologies. Mr. Richards has managed large software implementations and has undertaken major business process reengineering projects designed to effectively leverage IT investments.

Based on his in-depth knowledge of Globus/T24 and MIDAS as well as the Private Banking, Asset Management and Broker-Dealer businesses, Mr. Richards will focus on business development, the establishment of a MIDAS practice and project management.

Mr. Richards has a Computer Science C&G from South London Technical College.
